"Interaction with the forest while physically being in the garden."
Gardening is the art of growing plants and creating a personal garden by planning, planting and rearranging the plants and cultivation areas after our own aspirations.
"What if we were able to do the same thing with the trees in our forest-garden?"
In our vision of woodening the trees can be rearranged any time in any way, just like smaller plants or furniture in a garden. The parts occupied by trees create an illusion of forest, combined with smell, sound, scale and material, activated by moving or using the trees (the more visitors, the busier and louder the forest). When the wood is adjusted to different places the structure in the garden changes. Temperature, light and shadow change.New spots, spaces and sitting areas occur as well as the experience of the created rooms and their surroundings. The garden also draws attention from outside the hedge, as the trees are moving around - which is not an everyday occurrence for most passersby.
